storytelling

Updated: Jul 5, 2019

for this class, we had a storytelling workshop curated by the one & only ms A!!! she taught us that there are many ways to tell a story and it's important to know how to tell one interestingly enough that people want to hear!

we did a group activity that included the use of tarot cards. tarot cards are usually used for fortune reading. each tarot card has its own persona and meaning behind it. we weren't allowed to search up their characters to avoid from clouding our own creativity.

we were told to interpret the personas however we want, in our own ways, and to create a storyline from there.

the pictures shown above are the characters we got and the storyline we created from there. it's a crazy storyline but it helped get our creative juices flowing! especially working in a group, we just keep pilling even better on each other as we went with the story.

As you can see from the picture above, the story was about how 20 years ago, a lady named Alice and a man named Tony dated each other. Alice loved Tony very much but her father, who is also the pope, did not allow her relationship with Tony, let alone marriage. Because of that, Tony decided to break up with her. From that, Alice was so devastated that she had died from heartbreak. Because of her strong faith and holiness, she became Judgement.

Many years later, Tony had found someone else he loves, Louis the III. They wanted to get married. Unfortunately, their wedding did not go as planned. Judgement, or known as former Alice, had came using her power to wreck havoc at their wedding. She had caused the wedding to stop. The reason why she was enraged was because the one blessing the wedding of the person she once loved very much happens to be none other than her own father, her father who didn't allow her marriage to happen.

Moral of the story is that karma will bite you in the arse!
