indesign workshop

finally!!! getting to know indesign after just hearing about it for so long. all i knew about indesign before this is that indesign is a combination of illustrator and photoshop. i finally got to use it in this class and i was really excited haha. i was super amazed with all the features they have on indesign. there are many features that indesign has which ai and ps don't so i understand the difference between the three of them now. indesign is more suitable to be used when it comes to printing a book, brochure or magazine and such.

pictures shown below are some of the exercises we did with the help of ms vinsze! we learned some things: how to make a text wrap, how to delete white background of an object using an easy and fast way, and how to insert a picture inside a text. super cool skills that will come in handy for sure!!

in the first indesign workshop we had, we were taught the basics of indesign and was told to make a recipe/article based on what we learned. here's the outcome of my design after testing out how to use indesign:

overall, it was really fun to experiment around the similar yet not really features. it's still sort of hard to memorise all the tools on there and how everything works; i can't wait to get the hang of this software! hope to use it more often in the future :-)
