for this week's coexist class, we were split into two groups for tutorial with the lecturer who's supervising us. for my group, it's mr kevin! we watched all group's video essay on the question we were assigned to. my group's question is "Harvesting a Learning Curve from Start to Submission: How does taking part in design competitions prove essential for design students for their career advancement?"
my group had a discussion to put together the informations we found and compiled it into slides and then did the voiceover.

we listed down the benefits of design competitions in advancing a student’s design career:
- career stepping-stone
- skills development
- introduction to the industry
- learning and discovering other types of creativity
- personal development
- also added a point relevant to our era now: benefits of entering an online art competition
-we also did a case study, a short survey using google forms, on the topic "Design Competition & its Impact on Designers". in the span of 2 days, we had 8 responses. we summarised the responses towards the end of the video essay.
