10 Design Studio by Airbnb


CEO and Founder Brian Chesky had the ambition to elevate to Superbrand status, demonstrate that Airbnb was categorically different, drive the business forward and its value up. Airbnb decided to rebrand in order to connect with people more, to transform the way people travel, enabling them to explore the world, not as a tourist, but to truly ‘Belong Anywhere’.


For design studio to learn more about the brand and the core values they have, they immersed themselves in their world, travelling to 13 cities to research locations, visit Airbnb offices, users, hosts and become a part of the Airbnb community (Airbnb - Belong anywhere, 2020, April 24).

They came up with a new logo which is called the Bélo: the universal symbol of belonging. A simple icon that could be drawn by anyone.
