1.Based on the presentation and work from Part 1, what aspect of your work do you feel needs improvement?
I think based on my presentation and work from part, I think I can improve by making it easier to be read, maybe changing some parts like the colours and the labelling (?) Also, I realised that my research was unintentionally heavily western based and maybe I could shift my perspective slightly and research on the asian side as well.
2.What are your initial ideas for the outcome of your envisioned information piece?
I think the whole point of choosing this topic in general was to learn about human connections and how we connect in terms of love, whether it's accepting or giving. I wanted to do this in hopes we get to understand ourselves better in terms of how we like to be treated and how we treat others.
3.What design processes excite you and why?
Well.....I am almost always excited and open to learn any new design skills. I have learned the basics of silk-screening but I definitely would love to delve into it even more (silkscreening multiple layers etc.) because I think silkscreening gives this really nice organic texture/feel. besides that, I have always been interested in other kinds of printing? i'm interested in learning how to do risograph printing (i guess it's similar to screen printing). i'm not sure if we have the resources or how much it costs but i find it super cool and would definitely want to try that out someday.
I also am interested in 3d modelling and animations just because I think having those skills are essential to a designer. I believe it can really help elevate my designs. Other than that, I learned a little bit of 3d modelling when I was in foundation and even though it was hard but it was also super fascinating so I would like to try that again.
Alsoooo, I know we'll be learning coding soon and I can't wait for that workshop :-D I hope to take away some insightful knowledge on how to make/customise my own website
4. What don’t you know but need to for your project?
I need to research more on love language in Asian perspective and how our culture affects the love languages and how different it is from the Western perspective.
