Research Framework

for this week's class, we learned about research framework. we learned about research objectives, research questions and research methodologies.

research methodologies include quantitive and qualitative.

quantitative:

- interviews

- unstructured observation

- focus groups

- results: field nots, audio/video, transcripts

qualitative:

- questionnaires/surveys

- structured observation

- experiments

- results: numerical data (statistical)

to learn more about the research methodologies, we were split into groups of 3 to work on a concept map on the articles we read on. in my group, i was assigned to read up on qualitative interview techniques. here are the notes i took down while reading the article (messy handwriting bc of time constraints TT) :
