after last week's feedback during tutorial, I worked on ~some~ stuff.
1. LOVE LANGUAGE SURVEY
i decided to ask others for answers of what love languages mean to them, in order to help me understand better on what to draw on the omamori pouch. I made a google form survey to collect the answers from them. for each love language, i told them to answer anything that comes to mind, it could be anything at all (object, place, scent, or a personal experience)
i collected about 100+ responses! i'm in the midst of going through all of the answers and hopefully it will inspire me for my omamori designs :-) (T__Ti'm working on it)
2. LOVE LANGUAGE TEST QUESTIONS
besides that, i started working on the other parts. this one is the love language test in order to decide which omamori pouch you get.
i arranged all the questions for the part where people determine what their love language is. i made 10 questions (with the help of other online sources) each question will have 5 options to represent each love language.
after they've answered all questions, they will calculate the total of each colour's answers (love language). the person's primary love language is determined by the highest amount of colour of answer they answered.
e.g. they answered 4 pink, 3 yellow, 1 green, 1 purple,1 blue.
their primary love language is quality time (pink)

3. WHAT'S YOUR ATTACHMENT STYLE PAGE
i also designed the attachment style part where you can use it as guide to figure out your attachment style and it determines which omamori string you'll get. I did a few layouts and styles inspired by the fortune telling papers & I wasn't sure which looked best so haha.....
since each attachment style will determine the string you get, i thought maybe the most left one would be more ideal.
even though the design looks quite cohesive to me, i feel like it could be improved, maybe adding mini illustrations? so it doesn't look too wordy @__@
4. OMAMORI QUESTIONS
One of the other things i will have for the omamori is the question for them to answer. for each omamori pouch, there will be a question attached on the "flap" at the top. and the question will be related to the person's primary love language. they will then answer it on another paper.
so yeah here are the list of questions i thought of so far :-)

- work on omamori pouch designs
- design poster sheet for people to stick their answers of the question in the omamori "flap"
- design love language test
