new semester, new things to learn!!!! 🍞✨✨✨
our main subject of this semester turns out to be BREAD. i don't know how to feel about this because i don't really think about bread often. super excited to explore and go deeper into this topic though.
for our first class, we did a concept map on bread in different parts of the world. my group (Azizah, Gui Teng and I) did a concept map of bread in North and South America!! THIS IS AMERICA [childish gambino's voice]
it was fun because of all the things we learnt along the way we were putting the map together. To make it easier, ms sue jane gave us different aspects we can look into. For example: historical, social, economical, political, cultural etc.

using the time given, we spent it looking up for relevant points and facts that we could add to the concept map. we also had time to stick some things that we were told to bring aka bread related stuff. of course we had to add a ton of memes............... bred sheeran.........
everyone came up with really good concept maps to explain bread in different parts of the world. afterwards, we also used strings to connect the mutual points between different concept maps! it showed that bread may be from different parts of the world, but how they come about, how bread brings value into our eating cultures make it seem like they are not so different after all. it was a good first class after all!
